“Baby Driver” is a crime based action thriller comedy film in which the lead character, named Baby who works as a driver for bad guys as a getaway driver for several bank burglars. One day, he gets stuck in an unfortunate situation when a bank theft turns out badly, putting him on the keep running and the story is all about cars and sirens.

Development of movie
The Baby Driver is inspired by a music video by Edgar Wright for Mint Royale’s Blue Song in 2003, which featured Noel Fielding as a music-junkie getaway driver for a gang of bank looters.

Production of the movie
On July 22, 2014, it was reported that Edgar Wright, who left the film project Ant-Man, would be directing next movie Baby Driver for Working Title Films. Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan and as well as Nira Park would be producers for the film. And on January 13, 2015, it was said that Ansel Elgort was in early talks with producers to join the movie, which Sony Pictures Entertainment would release through TriStar Pictures.
Both Michael Douglas and Emma Stone were included in the star cast of the film.
Both Media Rights Capital and TriStar decided co-finance the film together, which Park would deliver through her Big Talk Productions and Wright will be writing the script for the movie.
Leading photography on the film started on February 17 and finished up on May 13, 2016, in Atlanta.
In August 2015, Sony Pictures Entertainment officially announced that the film for a March 17, 2017, release. It was later postponed to August 11, 2017.
